Closing the Gender Gap in STEM

To mark the 2021 International Day of Women and Girls in Science (February 11), the Cluster of Excellence CIBSS is hosting a screening of the film Picture a Scientist and a Panel Discussion entitled "Closing the Gender Gap in STEM". The goal of the screening and panel discussion are to increase awareness within the Freiburg STEM community of the issues surrounding gender inequality in sciences.

I) Picture a Scientist is a feature-length documentary chronicling the groundswell of researchers who are writing a new chapter for women scientists.
