Target group

Postdoctoral researchers of all disciplines

Content

Managing your own research project including daily struggles and challenges is part of everyday's work as a postdoc. This workshop will help you to successfully work as a project manager inside and outside of academia by learning more about:

1. Roles within a project
2  Project phases and milestones
3. Communication within the project
4. Risk analysis
5. Stumbling blocks
6. Scrum as agile project method
7. Project teams

Objectives

Projects can be the main task in everyday work or can run in addition to the daily routine. Participants learn to keep projects as "lean" as possible and to lead them efficiently to success. Therefore, it is necessary to commission, plan and implement them professionally and to ensure the success of the project in the long term. After all, ongoing processes are mostly optimized through the integration of previously developed project results.
